Our Mission

Our mission is to educate, promote, and maintain the art of big band music in today's world.

By performance and gifts, monies received are used to fund college scholarships for student instrumentalists who are studying music as a career.

Jerry Beck was Founder and Administrator of the Jump 'n' Jive Big Band. He was nominated for the 2014 Governor's Award for the Arts in Ohio in the category of Arts Administration. Jerry recently passed away, but his musical gifts to many will long be remembered.
